Louth is a run north for me and one I plan properly, arriving early so the morning is calm. Wedding filming is mostly preparation, and that is the part nobody sees.
I film documentary style: compact equipment, no staging, no directing, quietly capturing the day as it happens. The comment I get most often afterwards is that couples barely noticed I was there.
The county packs a lot into a small space. Castle venues, a working coastline and the mountains up on the Cooley peninsula, all within a short drive of each other.
