The Newpark Hotel Wedding Videographer

The Newpark sits on 25 acres of parkland and landscaped gardens right on the edge of Kilkenny City, so you get the countryside feel without asking guests to travel far. The ballroom has been recently renovated, regal blue and gold tones, chandeliers, done by interior designer Lucinda M. Batt.

Here's how I work, wherever I'm filming: compact equipment, no staging, no directing, and a habit of staying out of the way so the day looks like it actually happened rather than a production.

• The private wedding garden and central lawn are the spots for ceremony and photographs, and they're a short walk from the ballroom rather than a drive.
• If the Dunmore and Glendine Suites are combined for your day, it's worth me knowing that in advance, since it changes how the room reads on camera.
