No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place Wedding Videographer
A discreet, documentary-style wedding film in a restored Georgian townhouse on Dublin's Georgian Mile.
A Georgian townhouse in the city centre
No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place was built in 1843 and has been owned and run by the Kelly family since 2005, hosting weddings since 2012. It's a two storey Georgian townhouse just off Fitzwilliam Square, close to the Grand Canal and right in the middle of the city.
I filmed a wedding here. It's a fully exclusive venue, one booking a day, so there's no sharing the space or the day with anyone else's event.
Where No. 25 weddings happen
The regular wedding capacity is 60 guests for a seated dinner, with the option to add up to 30 more for the evening reception. Civil ceremonies can be held on site.
How I work
Here's how I work, wherever I'm filming: compact equipment, no staging, no directing, and a habit of staying out of the way so the day looks like it actually happened rather than a production.
- A smaller Georgian room like this rewards a videographer who knows how to work quietly. There's nowhere to hide, so I don't try to.
- Being in the city centre means an easy walk to Fitzwilliam Square or the Grand Canal if you want a few minutes outside for photographs and footage.
