A neo-Norman castle since the 1820s
The current castle was built in the early 1800s for the Foster family, originally called Cormey Castle, before the Pratt family bought it in 1813 and renamed it Cabra Castle around 1820. It's set on 100 acres in Kingscourt.
The Grand Ballroom carries the castle's Gothic-influenced interiors through to the wedding itself: hand-painted ceilings, Gothic-style windows and historic Waterford Crystal chandeliers.

The Grand Ballroom is the main banqueting suite, taking up to 270 guests.
