Borris House Wedding Videographer

Borris House sits above Borris village in south Carlow, inside a 650-acre walled estate of parkland and native woodland. It isn't a hotel and it isn't run as one: weddings here are private, exclusive-use, and arranged directly with the house rather than through a standard events team.

Inside, the Long Gallery and the Ballroom Wing give a wedding room to breathe, with family portraits, antique furniture and open fires doing a lot of the work a marquee would otherwise have to do. There's a private chapel beside the house for couples who want the ceremony on site.

I haven't filmed a wedding at Borris House recently, so I won't oversell familiarity I don't have. What I can tell you is how I work everywhere: compact equipment, no staging, no directing, and a habit of staying out of the way so the day looks like it actually happened rather than a production. If a venue like this has a scale or a setting that suits documentary filming, I'd love the chance to film it.
